2010 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro Front View
The Audi A4 has been produced in four different generations to date. Based on Volkswagen’s B-series platform, the Audi A4 has been classified as B5, B6, B7, and B8. It has a very classy design with longitudinally orientated engine at the front, equally complemented by a Quattro permanent four-wheel drive system that allows it deliver seamless performance.
As the popularity of the A4 grew, higher performance versions of the A4 – Audi S4 and a high performance version under the label of Audi RS4 were produced in the subsequent years.

First entering production in 1994, the A4 was warmly received by critics and customers alike. Since then it has had two major re-developments over the last 16 years, first in 2005 with that generation running through to 2008 and then, secondly, the latest generation of the car which is the Audi A4′s best incarnation so far.
Critics have always been impressed with Top Gear explaining that “Audi has produced a 3 Series rival that…offers truly fantastic ride quality” and is part of the “new generation of Audis…that have learned how to ride”.
